There are 2 types of PTE Academic exam

PTE Academic assesses candidates' abilities in the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This exam is recognised by thousands of universities worldwide, including Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and Yale. PTE Academic is also accepted for visa purposes in Australia and New Zealand. The test will last three hours.

Academic UKVI
The PTE Academic UKVI is designed specifically for the United Kingdom. This is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) required for UK visa applications. This test is open to anyone who wishes to study or immigrate to the United Kingdom.
Eligibility Criteria for PTE?
The PTE certificate is widely accepted in countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand. To be eligible, the candidate must be at least 16 years old, and those under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form. Pearson does not specify any educational qualification requirements for taking the test. There are no restrictions on how many times a candidate can take the exam.
PTE Band Score
The PTE scoring is of 2 types-
- 1. Partial Credit
- 2. Correct or Incorrect
Partial Credit
All correct answers receive partial credit. Points will be deducted from the points earned for correct answers for all incorrect answers.
Correct or Incorrect
The candidate will be given 1 point for each correct answer. No points will be given for an incorrect answer.
PTE Scholarships
Students can apply for a variety of scholarships and education loans. Scholarships are available on each college's official website. Students can also apply to financial institutions for education loans to study abroad. These scholarships and grants are extremely beneficial to students who wish to study abroad.
